Terms of service

These terms govern use of BBNSMS.com, operated by Browser Based Nigeria Limited (BBN), RC 803010, Lagos, Nigeria. By creating an account you agree to them. If you are buying for a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company.

The privacy policy and the data processing agreement form part of these terms. The DPA carries our Article 28 obligations where we process personal data on your behalf, and it applies to every account without separate signature.

The service

BBNSMS provides prepaid communications products: temporary OTP activations, durable United States and Canada numbers with inbound SMS, and a wallet funded by card through Stripe Checkout. eSIM data and outbound calling are described on the site as coming; they are not part of the live service until we say otherwise.

Account

You must provide a working email address and a password of at least ten characters. You are responsible for activity on the account. We may suspend or close an account that is used to abuse suppliers, to attack the platform, or to violate these terms.

Wallet and pricing

• The wallet is prepaid. We do not extend credit. An order that would take the balance below zero is refused.
• Prices shown in the product are retail USD. Provider cost is not disclosed.
• OTP activations are quoted before purchase. If the live price exceeds the quote, the order is refused rather than filled. Unused or cancelled activations are refunded to the wallet according to the product rules on that page.
• Dedicated numbers are charged setup plus the first month at order. Subsequent months are billed at the quoted monthly rate for as long as the number is held.
• Card top-ups are processed by Stripe. The wallet is credited when Stripe confirms the payment, not when Checkout opens.

Acceptable use

You may use numbers we provision for lawful verification, messaging and (where the product supports it) voice. You may not use the service to send spam, to commit fraud, to evade sanctions, or to violate the acceptable-use rules of the destination service you are verifying with. Some OTP services are marked prohibited in the catalogue and cannot be purchased.

Availability

Number inventory, SMS delivery and supplier uptime are outside our exclusive control. We do not guarantee that a quoted number will still be available at the moment of order, that an SMS will arrive, or that a dedicated line will remain assigned by the carrier indefinitely. Where we cannot fulfil an order we refund the reserved amount to the wallet.

Liability

The service is provided as a prepaid utility. Browser Based Nigeria Limited’s liability for any claim arising out of the service is limited to the amount you paid into the wallet in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for lost profits, lost data, or indirect loss, except where the law of Nigeria does not allow that limit.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The courts of Lagos have jurisdiction, without limiting either party’s right to seek interim relief elsewhere.
